At Forbes AAC, we realize that a client's journey toward obtaining their own AAC device starts with a successful trial. That is why we have developed the first self-serve, fully automated, online loan library system.
Our web based Loan Library enables Speech-Language Pathologists and end users to request devices for the purpose of conducting evaluations.
Requesting a loan can be done in a few easy steps!
We appreciate your interest in trialing a Forbes AAC Speech-Generating Device. Many of our forms are now online! Please follow the steps below according to who is borrowing a loan device.
Please note: Please reference the order number sent in your confirmation email from the Loan Library web portal.
STEP 1
Loans for Clinicians
If you are a Speech-Language Pathologist or an evaluating clinician, you can request to borrow a device to conduct speech evaluations. These loans MUST stay at the clinician's place of employment, otherwise, the end user will need to borrow the device. Please follow the steps outlined in order.

Loans for End Users
If you are a patient (or authorized family member/guardian of a patient) who has completed an AAC evaluation and a trial needs to be complete, you must submit the following required documentation. Please follow the steps outlined in order below.
Please note: This option is limited to clients for whom funding, such as private insurance or Medicaid, requires an in-home trial. Additionally, an SLP can recommend a trial based on their discretion.
