Prolate Assessment Program

The ProSlate Assessment Program is designed to accelerate access to speech-generating devices (SGDs) by allowing clients to receive a trial device immediately following an approved benefits check, while prior authorization (PA) and speech-language pathologist (SLP) documentation are obtained. Rather than waiting weeks for insurance approval, qualifying individuals can receive a trial ProSlate device shipped directly to them, preloaded with AAC apps, while their care team completes required evaluations and paperwork.
