How to download the Remote Help Desk Quick Support Module

As of December 31, our current Remote Help Desk tool will no longer be supported. To continue receiving live technical support, all customers will need to use our updated Remote Help Desk platform.

Because WinSlate devices are dedicated and have unique security settings, the updated Remote Help Desk tool must be installed in a specific way. Please follow the steps below to download and use the new Remote Help Desk Quick Support Module.

 

Step 1: Download the Quick Support Module

To access remote support, download the updated Quick Support Module using the link below:

This small application allows our support team to connect to your device and assist you.

If You Are Using a WinSlate Device

WinSlate devices cannot download applications directly from the internet unless they've been unlocked.

To install the Quick Support Module on a WinSlate:

  1. Download the file on another computer (Windows or Mac).

  2. Transfer it to the WinSlate using a USB flash drive.

  3. Open the file on the WinSlate to launch the Quick Support tool.

If you do not have access to another computer or USB drive, we can ship a flash drive upon request.

Step 2: Connect With Support

After opening the Quick Support Module:

  1. A window will appear with your ID and temporary password.

  2. Provide these to your support technician.

  3. Our team will connect and assist you live​

Network Requirements

For the Quick Support Module to work properly:

  • Ensure you are on a network that allows remote support connections.

  • Avoid guest Wi-Fi networks or highly restricted facility networks.

  • If the connection fails, check whether firewall rules or security settings may be blocking access.

Once the Quick Support Module is installed and running, you’ll be able to receive remote technical assistance whenever needed.
