Meet Your Dedicated Team

At Forbes AAC, we recognize the value of having individual points of contact while working through the process of procuring an AAC device. We believe it is critical to connect you with a team that specializes in your local region. For this reason, we have teams of Assistive Technology Specialists and Funding Coordinators to manage specific geographic regions of the country.

Felicia Pastore, M.S., CCC-SLP, CLC - Assistive Technology Specialist

Felicia is a Speech-Language Pathologist who obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. Felicia is local to Florida and grew up in Sarasota, FL.

Throughout her career, Felicia has worked across several clinical settings at the University of South Florida, serving as a Clinical Instructor, an acute care Speech-Language Pathologist, and the lead speech therapist within the multidisciplinary ALS clinic. With nine years of experience, her clinical focus includes adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Felicia has a strong passion for supporting individuals with complex communication needs, particularly those living with neurodegenerative conditions such as ALS. During her time at the USF multidisciplinary ALS clinic, she helped streamline processes to increase the number of AAC evaluations provided to patients. She also played a key role in developing feature-matching approaches to ensure individuals with ALS and their families were provided with communication solutions that best met their needs and abilities.

Through her clinical work, Felicia strives to empower individuals with communication challenges by providing access to tools and strategies that support independence, connection, and quality of life.

Outside of work, Felicia enjoys spending time with her family, husband (Nick), and their two boys (Nicholas and Noah). She loves to workout at CAMP Tampa, a good pool, and Disney. She is also a tried and true Chicago Bears fan and can be found yelling at the TV during football season.
