Meet Your Dedicated Team

At Forbes AAC, we recognize the value of having individual points of contact while working through the process of procuring an AAC device. We believe it is critical to connect you with a team that specializes in your local region. For this reason, we have teams of Assistive Technology Specialists and Funding Coordinators to manage specific geographic regions of the country.

Joesph Conely - Assistive Technology Specialist

Joey comes to Forbes AAC via the fast paced and competitive world of the financial sector. Right out of college, he earned a position at Chase Bank concentrating on small business banking and lending.

Then, on the fast track, he was hired for a key sales position and became the Lending Officer at Eclipse Bank. He helped provide various banking services to existing clients and bringing new consumer and small business banking relationships to the bank. He assisted in growth and management of the loan portfolio consistent with regulatory compliance and bank policies. Joey coordinated retail/small business lending and deposit activities with other lenders, retail personnel and Treasury Management to maximize those new business opportunities.

Wanting other challenges and opportunities in his career, he worked as a Capital Structure Advisor at ARGI Financial Group in Louisville, KY. Yearning for even more challenges and growth, he became the Vice President of Commercial Banking at Forcht Bank, in Lexington KY with a considerable footprint across Kentucky and Cincinnati having 300+ employees, and approximately $1 billion in total assets. His most recent employment was as the Managing Partner JWJL Investments overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations.

Outside of work, Joey serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bluegrass Center for Autism, a non-profit organization that provides individualized one-on-one programming for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Louisville, Kentucky area. He also volunteers for the Hershey “Woody” Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, which helps Gold Star Families throughout the United States.

Joey is a graduate of University of Louisville, with a BA and spends time supporting the University’s athletic alumni efforts, in addition to serving as a parent volunteer and a coach at his children’s school. Joey enjoys traveling, dinning out, and being in the outdoors with his family, which includes his wife, Whitney, and their two children, Leo and Lucy.
